"Be Unique"

Growing up on a farm near Give in Jutland, Denmark, I was all about those classic horror flicks and the entire gothic horror scene. Back in my teenage years, I was dead set on becoming an animator to bring those spooky cartoon ideas to life.

That journey kicked off when I joined the Drawing Academy in Viborg, Denmark in 2008, honing my drawing skills. The obsession was real! So real that I headed to the capital of Copenhagen in 2009, diving into studies at the Classical Drawing School to keep refining my craft.

I got my big break apprenticing under animator Darren Kordich at The Art Academy. Those were the golden days of learning tons about design and letting creativity run wild. Beyond that, I jammed through painting and design courses, transitioning from making horror ideas for movies to wanting to tattoo those eerie images on people's skin.

In 2013, I found a spot at All Ink Tattoo, then sealed the deal on my apprenticeship in 2015. Freelance gigs at Zoi Tattoo (2018) and Selfmade (2019-2020) followed suit. But by 2021, it was time for a change. I needed to get back to my horror roots. So, I found my own space – a private studio in Copenhagen – where I can focus on giving each customer the time and attention their projects deserve.

During a brief yet impactful period in 2022, I had the privilege of being a proud member of the inspiring artist collective, Dropout Collective. It was truly enriching to exchange ideas and creative energies with such talented artists. Regrettably, due to escalating commitments and a packed schedule, I had to step away from this collaboration. Recognising the need to focus on my personal artistic endeavours, I devoted my energy to nurturing my own art studio, allowing me to delve deeper into my creative visions.

In this new setup, I've set up shop with my oil paintings showcased for a daily dose of inspiration, always cooking up new ideas for upcoming tattoos.

At our studio, my rock and fiancé, Linn, is the shop manager. She's the one who keeps everything running smooth like butter, making sure our dear customers feel right at home and all their needs are taken care of. She's got a knack for organisation and makes sure our space is where creativity thrives and where our clients walk out smiling.
