Hygiene and Safety

We place great emphasis on your safety and comfort. Our studio is registered as an authorised tattoo establishment with the Danish Safety Agency (called Sikkerhedsstyrelsen), and we continuously stay on top of their guidelines to ensure that we consistently meet the highest safety standards.

This commitment includes the use of single-use equipment and needles, meticulously packaged to ensure a sterile working environment. We are well-trained in hygiene, having completed the latest hygiene courses. We are furthermore dedicated to transparency and quality in our work, which is why we register all used ink in the Inkfillers database, providing you with access to information about all the ink used for your tattoo.

We encourage you to visit the Danish Safety Agency's tattoo register at www.sik.dk/tattooregister to confirm our registration. Your safety is not just our responsibility but also our passion. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Consultation with your doctor – when is it necessary?

We want to ensure that you feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. If you experience any of the following symptoms, we recommend that you promptly consult your doctor:

  • Increased redness, swelling, and tenderness in the skin: This may be a sign of infection, and it is essential to seek professional evaluation from your doctor.

  • Fluid drainage from the tattoo: If the tattoo continues to secrete fluid, it is advisable to seek advice from your doctor.

  • Yellow buildup and thick scabs: These symptoms may indicate a reaction requiring immediate attention from your doctor.

  • Lack of improvement in swelling within a week: If the swelling does not go down as expected, it is recommended to seek advice from your doctor.

We want your tattoo experience not only to result in a beautiful and memorable piece of art but also to be a safe and comfortable journey. Therefore, do not hesitate to contact us with any concerns or questions you may have.
